At Le Bosquet, every order is carefully prepared and packaged from our farm in Sarsfield, Ontario, Canada. Because many of our products are grown and harvested seasonally, shipping timelines vary depending on the items you've ordered.

General Shipping Information

In-stock products, including dried basketry willow, decorative willow, vegetarian sheep fleeces, and other boutique items, are typically processed and shipped within 3 business days.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.

Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address, package size, and selected shipping method.

If your order contains both seasonal products (such as dormant willow cuttings) and in-stock items, your order may be shipped separately to ensure each product arrives at the appropriate time.

Dormant Willow Cuttings & Living Willow Whips

Dormant willow cuttings and living willow whips are available for pre-order beginning each July for the upcoming dormant season.

To maximize planting success, all dormant willow products are harvested, prepared, and shipped while fully dormant. Orders are typically shipped between mid-January and mid-April, depending on your location, local weather conditions, and the shipping method selected during checkout.

We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your willow arrives at the ideal time for planting in your growing region.

The shipping cut-off date for dormant willow orders is April 1.

Whenever possible, live plant material is shipped early in the week (Monday through Wednesday) to minimize time in transit.

Fresh Willow Rods

Fresh willow rods are harvested during the dormant season and are shipped between January and April, subject to availability and weather conditions.

Like our dormant cuttings, fresh rods are harvested and shipped while dormant to ensure the highest quality upon arrival.

Brown Basketry Willow & Decorative Willow

Our dried basketry willow, decorative willow stems, pussy willow, and other dried natural materials are available year-round while supplies last.

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3 business days.

Minimum Order Quantities

To ensure efficient harvesting and shipping, the following minimum order quantities apply:

Living willow whips: 50 whips
Brown basketry willow: 10 lb (4.5 kg)

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your location, package dimensions, and shipping method.

For oversized orders, bulk purchases, or deliveries to remote locations, additional shipping charges may occasionally apply. If this occurs, we will contact you for approval before processing your order.

We proudly ship throughout Canada and the United States.

Estimated delivery times after shipment are:

Canada: approximately 3–7 business days
United States: approximately 5–10 business days, depending on destination and customs processing

International Shipping

Yes—we ship internationally!

Dormant willow cuttings can be shipped to many countries during the Northern Hemisphere dormant season, generally January through April.

International shipments of live plant material may require a phytosanitary certificate and are subject to your country's import regulations.

Customers are responsible for confirming their country's import requirements before placing an order.

Any applicable phytosanitary certificate fees, shipping adjustments, duties, taxes, or import charges will be communicated prior to shipment.

U.S. Phytosanitary Certificate

Live plant shipments entering the United States require a phytosanitary certificate.

A fee of $18 USD applies to obtain this certificate. We will contact you before shipping to arrange payment, along with any required shipping adjustments.

Customs, Duties & Import Fees

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country. These fees are not included in your purchase price or shipping costs.

These are dried branches and not live cuttings for propagation.

There are 8-10 branches in a bunch and the length is roughly 90cm ( 3 feet)

Salix 'Erethroflexuosa' or Golden Curls is a fast-growing willow, ideal for adding ornamental value to any garden. This large shrub or small tree features an upright trunk and older branches that form an attractive oval-rounded crown, while its younger branches gracefully weep, curling and twisting as they grow.

Key Features and uses:

Seasonal Colour: The younger branches display a golden-yellow hue in winter and early spring, maturing to bronze-gold in summer. In spring, the tree is adorned with glossy green, lance-shaped leaves that curl and twist, creating an eye-catching gold and green effect. The foliage transforms to a brilliant golden-yellow in the fall before shedding, revealing the tree's sculptural form in winter.
Hybrid Origin: This willow is a hybrid between the corkscrew willow (Salix matsudana ‘Tortuosa’) and the golden weeping willow (Salix alba ‘Tristis’).

Growth & care:

Height and Spread: Reaches 20-30 ft. tall and wide (6-9 m).
Pruning: Can be cut to the ground every 3-5 years to maintain a smaller shrub size.
Sunlight: Thrives in full sun.
Soil: Prefers moist, well-drained soils.
Maintenance: Easy to grow and care for, and is deer-resistant. Prune hard in winter to encourage vibrant new growth.
Pests and Diseases: Keep an eye out for aphids, caterpillars, gall mites, sawfly larvae, willow scale, willow anthracnose, scab, willow heart rot, rust diseases, crown gall, honey fungus, and root rot.
