Welcome to Le Bosquet! We're Mireille and Maurizio, and we're thrilled to share our passion for willow, dogwood, and fiber with you. Nestled just outside of Ottawa in Sarsfield, Ontario, our farm is a labour of love, offering a rich variety of 32 willows, 10 dogwoods, and our own flock of heritage fiber sheep.
Our Hands-on Approach:
Each season, you'll find us working side by side, carefully tending to our crops and flock. The willow and dogwood are prepared for your unique projects — basketry, ornamental uses, floral arrangements, and traditional crafts like wattle and fedge fences — while the wool from our flock is transformed into vegetarian sheepskins (fleeces without the skin), entirely cruelty-free and hand-crafted on our farm.

We’re more than just a farm. We're committed to sustainable practices that honour the land, care for our animals, and support our community. Our wool is not only from our own flock but also sourced ethically from small farms in Canada and beyond, many of whom are working to conserve rare and heritage breeds. By choosing one of our fleeces, you’re directly supporting small-scale conservation farming and helping preserve the legacy of these animals for future generations.
